After earning the Bachelor of Arts degree from Drury College in Springfield, MO, Dr. James Carmichael earned the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College located in St. Louis, MO.  Dr. Carmichael has been in private practice since 1970. The Carmichael Health Center is conveniently situated in south Springfield, MO, at 3108 South Fremont Avenue, approximately 1 block south of the Battlefield Mall. What happens on a new patient's first visit?
After completing the usual entrance forms, patients new to our facility next have a personal consultation with the doctor. Patient injuries and ailments are thoroughly discussed and necessary examinations and financial arrangements are explained before any work is begun.

Consultations, examinations and treatment visits are seen by appointment. For auto accident injury victims, it is our goal to provide needed care with no out of pocket expense by working directly with available med-pay and liability insurance carriers and attorneys.
